This Chicago Ridge homeowner came to Cousins Construction with a single goal: take a dated 1960s brick ranch with an aging roof and bring it into 2026 — exterior and interior, one trusted crew, one schedule.

We started with a full tear-off and replacement of the failing shingle roof, repaired storm-worn fascia and soffit, and refreshed the entire exterior — clean white masonry paint, crisp black shutters and trim, and a warm wood-clad entry door that completely reset the curb appeal.

Inside, we opened up and rebuilt the main living area: refinished red oak hardwoods throughout, fresh drywall and trim, recessed LED lighting, and a custom feature wall combining vertical walnut slat panels with a book-matched porcelain marble surround and a 60" linear electric fireplace.
